This hotel is nicely located in Kargill. Accessibility is descent and have a descent car parking space though not coveted. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room is neat and clean and spacious in size. It's not a kind of hifi star rated type hotel but if you wish to enjoy a calm and local place at a reasonable price, I would recommend this hotel. The food quality is very nice. Room temperature is maintained well and I guess in winter also it's fine.

Close to the Bus Stop

The main reason i chose this place was because it close to the Bus Stop (since i was going to Leh by bus). The hotel is strategically located, close to the bus stop and main market. The room was big and clean, there is hot water also. Really recommended.

Stayed here for one night en-route to Leh. Very friendly, helpful and honest staff. Forgot my cellphone charger in the room upon check out, one of the staff brought it to me. The manager kindly lent me his cellphone to confirm a taxi to Leh. Hotel Siachen situated in the center of town in the market area, about two kms from central taxi stand. Room is spacious & clean with free wifi available in rooms and dining room. Hot water is always available. Breakfast and dinner are tasty & service is good.

The hotel is located in the main bazaar and is difficult to reach during peak hours as the market area is extremely crowded and congested.We used this hotel as a transit one on our trip from Srinagar to Leh. The rooms in the hotel were average but were clean. The restaurant is however good which serves good food. The staff were courteous. Recommended for staying for one night.

Quiet nook off the main street in Kargil

Kargil was our transit to Sri Nagar from Leh, but turned out we were stranded for an extra day due to the political situation there. Nevertheless, we had a good 2 days of relaxation lounging in the garden of Siachen. Staff were excellent, food at the restaurant was satisfying, rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were tucked away just far enough from the main street madness but close enough to walk out for food and necessities. We had a 4am pick up, the staff were good enough to give a us a wake up call and helped us carry our luggage to the taxi pick up point. Will recommend this place to those on the road and need a restful place for the night.
